BlogHer 2017 – Opportunities

At the end of June I will be attending the BlogHer 2017 conference in Orlando and I’m gonna geek out for a moment about it. Come with me…and you’ll see…a world of pure nerdification.

The conference is three days, Thursday, Friday and Saturday. Thursday is an expo/arrival day with a keynote speech for garnish. I’ll be arriving around 2 or 3 in the afternoon and filling 25.3 tote bags with SWAG BAYBEEEE and yeah I’m going to the keynote speech too.

Sorry, day one isn’t very flashy.

Day 2 we slam the pedal to the medal with a Newbie Breakfast at 7:30, which will be a Christmas miracle for me to make it to but I RSVPd and I rely heavily on the approval of others so I’ll be there but I DON’T HAVE TO BE HAPPY ABOUT IT THERE HAD BETTER BE BLUEBERRY MUFFINS AND COFFEEEEEEE.

I’m sorry, I don’t know what came over me. After breakfast I’m attending sessions on live streaming, video content, and creating revenue streams, then it’s lunch and a keynote speech by Luvvie Ajayi. After the speech I plan to go to a podcasting session and then more swagalicious expo wandering.

Day 3 breakfast is mercifully later from 8 to 9am, and then I’m going to a rather lengthy session on building my personal brand, which I’m hoping isn’t too gimmicky or eye roll inducing. Lunch, then how to increase my Facebook traffic, then closing keynote and closing party.

I hope to come home Sunday with new friends, new connections, and new ways to make my blog even more enjoyable for all of you. This is an exciting opportunity and I plan to make the most of it!
