Greetings friends!

It has been a while since I last posted a review. My school year began on August 10th and everything has been nonstop since then. This is more of a mental exhaustion, so my reading habits tend to drop off a bit this time of year. Things are starting to slow down a bit now that everyone is settled into the routine, so I will be posting more often in the last 3 months of the year.

I have several reviews that I am excited to share with you.

Godkiller, The Midnight Kingdom (The Dark Gods #2, sequel to The City of Dusk), The Water Outlaws, and Under the Tamarind Tree are all advance copies that I received via NetGalley that came out in August and September that I am behind on. I finished Under the Tamarind Tree, I just need to write the review. I’m about halfway through reading both Godkiller and The Water Outlaws, and I haven’t started reading The Midnight Kingdom yet. Those three will be my reading through the end of September and I am hoping to be fully caught up with my reviews published by September 30th.

I also have these four advanced copies to read. The Unmaking of June Farrow and The Reformatory come out in October, and The Future and Inheritance come out in November. I expect to have these reviews out and available in advance of their publication.

I do not have any plans for reviews in December. I will have a post about my plans for 2024 as well as my usual “Best of” list from 2023.
