Sharon Titus and Winter Redd are the foodie besties that lead us through the intersection of the brain and the belly, guiding us through the history and science of food while enticing us with what they’ve eaten lately. I love that their podcast always starts with a short food joke. I am a sucker for a good pun. 🙂

At the BlogHer17 conference the one session I wanted to be at for sure was the podcasting session, and these lovely ladies were there to guide me through how to get everything up and running. They lifted my confidence and made me feel like I could do it, because they could do it. They are a smart pair, and their podcast is funny, informative, and delicious.

I enjoy that they take food to the next level. Knowing the science and the history behind how our food and drink are made and enjoyed adds depth to an often vapid “pics of food only” type blog. From breweries at monasteries to the ins and outs of food business, you’ll want to pull up a chair and pour a glass of wine because listening to this podcast is like sitting down to dinner with good friends who are smarter than you but you don’t mind because they are interesting and they have good food.

These podcasts are usually about an hour long, and they hold true to routine, which I appreciate. I can’t wait to listen to more episodes to catch up to their most recent one, and since they began about a year ago and currently have about 52 eps in the hopper, I should get there in no time.

Go check out Winter and Sharon and let them introduce you to the funny and interesting side of food. I’ll be listening.
