Every Sunday I scroll through the featured Kindle Deals on Amazon to see if there are any new books I’d like to grab, and whether any old favorites are available at a steal. Remember that while I do link to Amazon here, the deal is usually only available on Sunday, and its also possible that the sale exists via price matching through other sources if you prefer to shope elsewhere.
Today, April 24, 2022, you can find the following Angry Angel Books reviewed books on Kindle deal:

Throne of Glass (ToG #1)

Reviewer’s Note: While I can recommend books 1-3 and maybe 4 of this series, as I’ve written about before, something happened to Sarah J. Maas after Heir of Fire in this series and A Court of Mist and Fury in her Court of Thorns and Roses series that turned her writing into terribly written softcore porn. I never was able to get through the final book in the Throne of Glass series, and I haven’t read any of her work since.

The Cruel Prince (Folk of the AIr #1)

Reviewer’s Note: WHY HAVEN’T YOU READ THIS YET I DEMANDED THAT YOU GO READ THIS RIGHT AWAY!!! THIS ENTIRE TRILOGY IS A DREAM PLEASE LISTEN TO ME!!

The City of Brass (Daevabad Trilogy #1)
Angry Angel Books Review

Reviewer’s Note: I really enjoyed this one but I haven’t cracked the other two books in the trilogy, even though I also got both of them on Kindle deals! I’m looking forward to digging into some of my unfinished series books this summer.

Bird by Bird: Some Instructions on Writing and Life
Angry Angel Books Review
Amazon Link
Reviewer’s Note: I have found that true craft books are best accompanied by writing memoirs (see also On Writing by Stephen King). When I feel like I can’t get my structure right I take a break and read one and it reminds me that while craft structures are useful, sometimes you just have to write your own way. If you’re an aspiring writer like me, you want to pick this one up.

Seraphina
Angry Angel Books Review

Reviewer’s Note: Seraphina is followed by Shadowscale, which I have never read, and Tess of the Road/In the Serpent’s Wake, a pair of YA novels that are so perfect I cannot stand it. If you love fantasy you can’t go without reading the works of Rachel Hartman. And at $2.99 Seraphina is where you should start.
Have a great week!

I agree with your take a reading craft books with a bit of memoir tossed in. I love both Bird by Bird and On Writing. I just reread On Writing.
